Hello there! I'm
Aditya (Adi)
Building scalable backend systems & network infrastructure.
I’m a Production Engineer at Meta (Facebook) specializing in network infrastructure for agentic AI workloads. Previously, I was a Senior Software Engineer at Mercari Japan, leading notifications and core backend platforms. I love building distributed, high-availability systems that scale.
About Me
Hello there! I am Aditya, a software engineer specializing in distributed systems, network infrastructure, and high-availability backend platforms. Currently, I am a Production Engineer at Meta (Facebook) in London, UK, focusing on network infrastructure to scale capacity for agentic AI workloads.
Before joining Meta (Facebook), I was a Senior Software Engineer at Mercari Japan in Tokyo, where I led the Notifications Platform team, serving over 25M+ monthly active users and processing 300M+ notifications daily. I was also a Software Engineer Intern at Mercari JP, working in their core media team.
My journey also includes being an LFX Mentee @ Hyperledger Fabric (The Linux Foundation), where I integrated a Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BDLS) consensus protocol into Fabric. I graduated with a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIIT Gwalior (Department Rank 2). I love solving hard scaling and performance optimization problems, and I enjoy writing technical articles to share my findings.

Here are a few technologies I’ve been working with recently:
- Go, Python, C/C++
- Distributed Systems
- gRPC & REST APIs
- SQL & Data Systems (MySQL, Spanner)
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Linux & Networking (TCP/IP, DNS)
- CI/CD & Infrastructure
- Rust & PHP
Where I’ve Worked
Production Engineer, Networks @ Meta (Facebook)
April 2026 - Present — London, United Kingdom
- Member of the Network Infrastructure team securely scaling the backbone capacity to support agentic AI workloads.
Some Things I’ve Built
Featured Project
MediChain
A telecommunication and medical records system, built on public blockchain. Utilizes IPFS for storing encrypted sensitive medical data. Uses The Graph indexer for fast and complex queries of blockchain data making this a scalable system.
- Solidity
- Hardhat
- Next.js
- JavaScript
- The Graph
- TailwindCSS
Featured Project
CleanRoute
A routing tool with forecasting capability for calculating the air pollution exposure and energy consumption of a route and utilizing this information to show the LEAP (Least Exposure to Air Pollution) and LCO2(Least Carbon Emission) routes along with trivial shortest, fastest routes.
- Go
- Python
- Machine Learning
- JavaScript
- Docker
Featured Project
NFT Marketplace
A NFT marketplace where people can buy and sell NFTs. People can withdraw their proceeds after the proceeds have reached a particular threshold.
- Solidity
- Hardhat
- Next.js
- The Graph
- TailwindCSS
Other Noteworthy Projects
view the archiveGoRes
An iterative DNS resolver implemented from scratch in Go. It queries public DNS infrastructure from the root server down to the authoritative nameservers to resolve DNS records for a domain, utilizing UDP sockets for communications with less than 350ms latency.
RustyDNS
Built a DNS server from scratch using Rust and the optimized server to handle DNS requests efficiently, ensuring quick response times with robust security measures.
RMS backend in Go
This is the backend of Resturant Management System (RMS) in Go. Full CRUD functionality is implemented in Go including JWT authentication. It uses Gin for routing and MongoDB for storing the data.
BotterGo
An NLP featured slack bot using Go using WIT for NLP and WolframAlpha as knowledge repository. This Go server connects WIT, WolframAlpha and Slack platform.
CleanRoute
A routing tool with forecasting capability for calculating the air pollution exposure and energy consumption of a route and utilizing this information to show the LEAP (Least Exposure to Air Pollution) and LCO2(Least Carbon Emission) routes along with trivial shortest, fastest routes.
DAO inspired by Compound
An implementation of a DAO inspired by Compound. This is a 100% on-chain voting and on-chain governance DAO. This is the hardhat repository.
